About Sharon & Full Circle Interior Design
My career has spanned various unique experiences, from teaching in the Seychelles and working with the Royal family in Abu Dhabi to taking on interior design projects like 15 restaurants in a multi-million-dollar theme park in Dubailand, UAE. Some other notable projects include:
- A 10-storey building of boutique apartments on Palm Island, Dubai
- Park Hyatt Hotel Dubai spa refurbishment
- Jumeirah Golf Resort Golf Academy in Dubai
- Numerous residential interior design projects across the UAE and Ireland
The company name, Full Circle Interior Design, emerged during a brainstorming session over lunch at an Irish pub in Dubai. My journey began in teaching, later transitioning to residential and commercial interior design, interior showroom sourcing and sales, marketing, and project management. Eventually, I came full circle in my career, leading to the foundation of Full Circle Design.
Fast forward to 2019, my husband Peter and I relocated to Ireland with our rescue cat, Misha, and a 20 ft container filled with furniture. Two years later, we secured our dream home in Co. Wicklow, Ireland—a Victorian detached house with mature gardens.
This home was a true “doer-upper,” putting my Irish interior design skills to the ultimate test! After years of working on slick, contemporary designs in the Middle East, I developed a grá (Irish for ‘love’) for vintage, antiques, upcycling, and the delicate balancing act of mixing old and new to inject real character into interior spaces.
In early 2024, I decided the time was right to re-launch Full Circle Interior Design in Ireland. With a focus on residential interior design, I aim to help people with house renovation, home space planning, and new build homes. My inspiration comes from the Irish passion for all things related to property and home design.
In my free time, I enjoy fun times with family and friends, walking in the Wicklow mountains, traveling off the beaten path, reading in the garden at sunset with a glass of wine, and playing with my mischievous cat, Misha.
