This is my first blog post ever! I don’t really know much about blogging, but I will give it a shot. For nearly 40 years, I have been travelling the world from jungle trips in Colombia to royal weddings in Abu Dhabi and have witnessed a whole host of amazing interiors, fashion, scenery, and lifestyles.
To kickstart 2024, I want to take a hard look at Peach Fuzz, Pantone Colour of the Year 2024 and how it could apply to interiors. According to Pantone, it is a “warm and cozy shade highlighting our desire for togetherness with others or for enjoying a moment of stillness and the feeling of sanctuary this creates. PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz presents a fresh approach to a new softness.”
Sorry, it is not for me! It is just too sweet, too indulgent, too Gen Z. Maybe you could get away with a touch of it in accessories or in a nursery or if it is toughened up a bit with dark colours such as denim blue and deep terracotta. What are your thoughts on Peach Fuzz for interiors? Just peachy or too fuzzy?

Like your straight-talking approach Sharon. Helpful tips, thank you. Peach Fuzz not giving me the buzz either!
You are welcome Katherine! No buzz for the Peach Fuzz from you either!
No peach wouldn’t do it for me either…too many memories of the worst of 80’s fashion… peach satin bridesmaid /debs dresses
Peach satin 1980s dresses- thanks for the flashback!
Too sweet for me, peach fuzz reminds me of the 80s, taffeta bridesmaid dresses and froth…perhaps a colour for a warmer climate, I may give this one a wide berth…. interesting to know how you might make it work. Thanks Sharon
Thanks Niamh for the flashback to the 1980s!
Yes, I totally agree with you! I like it in small doses, but that’s about it. Keep the blogs coming-very entertaining!
Thanks Bernadette!
